Scope of Practice
In Washington State we are primary care physicians. We are able to perform all annual physical exams, request blood work, refer for more extensive testing (ie. mammogram, bone scan, x-ray, etc) and prescribe prescription medications (except controlled substances). We work hard to avoid prescription medications but are able to help you identify when a prescription medication may be the best option for you to continue with or start.
